About Sabine Dahn:
I have a wide variety of experience in teaching very diverse groups of people in Brighton and surrounding Sussex.
My general, mixed ability classes have benefited people with many physical and emotional difficulties such as ME, fibromyalgia, asthma, back problems, Parkinson’s, panic attacks, anxiety and depression.
I also teach more specialized classes: residents in a retirement home, classes for people with mental health issues; classes to remedy back pain; advanced yoga students who have been committed to yoga for many years, teenage college students, and the occasional children’s groups.
I have worked therapeutically with patients on the haematology and the gynae-oncology ward and at the Sussex Cancer Centre as well as working with both children and their parents on the oncology ward at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
I teach yoga individually to people who want to work more specifically towards their own needs and to establish a personal home practice.
My classes always integrate āsana practice with breath work, visualisation and sound as and when students enjoy this too. A meditative approach to all of these practices is the background pulse.
I enjoy meeting and teaching people and to watch them grow in confidence and stride ahead in their lives as their yoga unfolds and carries them.
