As Lockdowns take their toll on our mental health and wellbeing, my students and I have undertaken a meditation to lift our spirits and brighten our days .. I believe it to be a Bhuddist practice but stand to be corrected on this .. whomsoever brought it to our minds, it has pleased us all
Beginning with Red, the base colour, looking around your home, garden, on walks and outings etc. and just looking out for items that are red in colour.
After a week of this, change the colour to orange .. moving up the spectrum week by week and the effect is of lightening and enhancing our vision and also becoming more aware of wonderful world around us.
Just a thought you might like to try it – particularly if you are feeling a little blue
