Dates – 17 October – 24 October 2020
Sicily is a magical island with amazing scenery, hills and mountains, beautiful beaches and clear blue sea, delicious food (and wine!), it’s just the perfect setting for a yoga and walking holiday.
Join Chantal and Gareth as they return back to Sicily, this time in the lovely seaside town of Cefalu. We have booked a gorgeous venue in the heart of the picturesque seaside town of Cefalù. With 7 spacious apartments all with kitchenettes and ensuite bathrooms, the setting for our accommodation really does have the ‘wow’ factor! Step onto our rooftop terrace where we’ll be practicing the yoga and you’ll be hard pushed to remain focused with the views of the sea and the surrounding delights!
We’ll be overlooking the square which houses the imposing Duomo, a stunning 12th century cathedral. Towering above is the Rocca, a massive hill, well worth the steep climb to see the Norman fortifications, said also to be home to mythical giants!
We’ll be just off the main street, Corso Ruggero, where we’ll join the locals after yoga for the ‘passeggiata’, the evening stroll!
With gorgeous beaches and fantastic restaurants it’s no wonder that director Giuseppe Tornatore chose to set parts of his much-loved film Cinema Paradiso here. Cefalù really is the perfect picture postcard town for a holiday!
There’ll be lots of yoga and with 2 highly experienced teachers on hand you’ll have the time to explore and deepen your practice.
We’ll also be taken on an adventure to Mt Etna, the most active volcano in Sicily! And guided walks in the Sicilian countryside with our friends from Sicilian Experience. We’ll go walking where only the locals know about!
The food will be typical Sicilian cuisine catering for meat and fish eaters and vegetarians and vegans. Seriously the food is amazing in Sicily!
Spaces are limited and with Easyjet flights really cheap at the moment from the UK don’t hesitate to get in touch! Contact Chantal via email or through Living Yoga Holidays website or by calling her on 07910 530060.
