The Power of Sound to Connect – joint aYs / TSYP Convention

We are absolutely delighted to announce that R Sriram will be the in-person plenary speaker at our joint convention with TSYP, with Mekhala Desikachar joining him for one session by video link.

Sriram, a long-time student of TKV Desikachar based in India and Germany and an outstanding teacher in our tradition for the past 40 years, will be remembered by some aYs members for his 2013 convention themed ‘Yoga and the Emotions’.  Mekhala Desikachar, based in the States, is known for the recordings of Vedic chant she made in 2001 with her father and Sriram.

As always, Convention is a great opportunity to learn and to connect and reconnect with friends from both our organisations to strengthen our saṅgha. Our lovely new venue will be Sedgebrook Hall in Northamptonshire. See here
