Yoga and Chanting in the Lap of the Goddess – a Retreat with Sheela & Ravi Shankar

This retreat is a celebration of the Devi, the divine feminine energy who is the daughter of the mountains – parvatasya janaḥ pārvatī The celebration of the Devi over the nine days of Navaratri would have just got over and the spirit of the Devi would pervade the cool, fresh air all through the region. We would tap into this pervading spirit through the chanting of Suktams and Stotrams on Devi. In addition, we would study the deeper meaning of these chants together with the Puranic stories that lie behind them.
