It was Chris Preist who put me on to this book a couple of years ago..
I found it readable (with the author's sense of humour well to the fore), extremely well researched, and most informative. The list of contents above says as much as is needed to let you know what's in it.
The author is professor of Biological Sciences and Neuroscience at Stanford University. If his lectures are as good as his writing, his students must love listening to him!
Amazon has it new for £10.99 but there are plenty of cheaper options. Whatever you pay for it, I think you'll find it very handy for dealing with all your stressed students!
