I just wanted to say how useful I am finding these sound clips, especially the repeats. As someone who finds chanting very challenging these are just what I need to help with my practice.

Just wanted to thank you, Carole, for adding to our chant resources -- especially the material from the Yoga Sutras. I hope that some day we have all four chapters complete, but this sample is a good start.

PLEASE don't think I am ignorant for not acknowledging your thanks Margo, I have only just discovered these posts!! I wouldn't mind having a go at a whole chapter, I assume chapter two would be the most popular?

Don't worry about taking a while to find your way around. There are quite a few people who log on, but don't leave any words behind, and I'm prepared to bet that's because they think it's too difficult or forbidding. All they need to do is read the "How do I?" section then have a go!

Hello Jane
I have just finished recording the chant excercises, the opening prayers, and the first 8 sutras of each chapter, I know you only suggested 4 but I couldn't stop once I got going!!
I would like Howard to listen to them first before I subject the general public to them, then I will send them to Rich.
I hope they will be useful too.

Hello Jane,
As I have just replied to Margo, I hope you don't think I wasn't acknowledging your thanks, I don't seem to have grasped the system yet, BUT, I am getting there!!!
I am pleased with the voice samples, it's very strange hearing your own voice and I can't believe how clear they are. It certainly makes you concentrate on the pronunciation.
