AYS practitioner and BWY-accredited teacher, having graduated from Ranju Roy and Dave Charlton's teacher-training course (www.sadhanamala.com/training_courses) in 2008.
The course gave me a thorough grounding in the philosophy, application and practice of yoga.

I have been teaching group-classes for beginners and improvers, with an emphasis on asana, for about two years now.

Monday evenings, 6:10 - 7:30pm and 7:40 - 9pm.

Like many people, I try to teach the classes that I myself would love. So my approach involves using plenty of variations, at all levels, in order to give everybody a 360-degree view of asana, pranayama and movement. I think this makes good sense as it makes the class interesting for everybody, including me!
My classes are also very gentle, as we use movement to gradually become aware of our sticking points, and allow the body to work out how to unpick them. It's like cracking a safe using a lock-pick, rather than dynamite =:)
