When I started attending a Yoga class, I immediately liked the way it made me feel, stretched out, lighter and relaxed. I went to classes intermittently over a number of years - seeking out Yoga classes when I needed what Yoga provided, usually better a more stable mind and perspective.
I didn't know much about Yoga beyond posture work and class relaxation sessions, but I knew it helped me, physically and mentally.
From a desire to learn more, I started a BWY teacher training diploma with Sarah Ryan and Sandra Sylvester and then started teaching a Yoga class.
The viniyoga approach always felt like the "right" approach to me and I undertook Viniyoga stage 1 and 2 courses with Ranju Roy and Paul Harvey and then the Practitioner course with Paul.
I really appreciate the many benefits to having one-to-one lessons with a teacher and I am very happy to continue my study and teaching in this way.
My yoga practice is about bringing yoga more fully into my day to day life, working on how to utilise my available energy and living in a more harmonious way.- Website
