Click "Log in"
Your username will appear top left when successful.
To avoid logging-in every time, check "Remember me" before logging in

Click "Edit" in the page
You can edit your account settings here eg your email, your password etc.
To edit your personal details eg postcode, telephone, area etc
Click "Personal Information" in the page
You must be logged-in to do this.
Go to "My account" via the main menu to the left
Click "Edit" in the page
Enter your new password here.
You must be a logged-in member to do this.
Go to "Blogs" via the main menu to the left
then "My blog" in the same menu
Click "Post new blog entry" in the page
Enter a title
Enter your blog details in the "body" field
Click the "Submit" button when ready
Alternatively, go to "Create content" in the main menu.
Click "Blog entry" in the page
Please note that once you add an event to the blog it can
now be easily transferred by the admin and will appear in the events
listing. It is also important to note that only teacher members and
student members are allowed to advertise events on the website.
Unauthorised advertisements will be removed.

Use the blog feature as detailed above, this will be then (almost automatically) added to the events page.
To have an event added to the "News and Events" page, please submit details of your event to the Site Admin via email.

Click "Post new forum topic" in the page
Enter a subject
Choose a forum from the drop-down menu
Enter your forum post in the "body" field
Alternatively, go to "Create content" in the main menu.
Click "Forum topic" in the page
Checking the box by "Subscribe" means that you will receive an email whenever anyone replies to your forum entry.

Click "Reply" at the bottom left of the post to which you want to reply
Enter a subject
Enter your reply in the "Comment" field
Click "Find teachers" in the main menu to the left
Check the box to choose your search criteria eg "Area"
Enter your search eg "Dorset"
Click the "Find teachers" button
A list of results will appear
Click "view" in the "Profile" column
Go to the member's profile.
This can be done via "Find teachers" or via any post made by the member
Click "Contact" in the page
Fill "Subject" and "Message"
Click the "Send e-mail" button
Guests can listen to the files but you must be a logged-in ays member to download them.
Go to "Vedavalli chants" via the main menu to the left
Then to "Chant recordings"
Click the arrow below the name of the audio file to listen
To browse a list of available chants click "Browse chants" in the main menu to the left
To download a file to your pc click the "Download audio file" link.
Follow the on-screen instructions presented. These will depend on the web browser that you are using.
You will then be able to transfer the file to your music player.
Click the Email link below the aYs address at the top of the right-hand column
This should open your email programme

Click "Send e-mail"

Maximum dimensions are 85x85 and the maximum size is 50 kB.

You can comment on much of the content on the website by clicking links "Add new comment"

Click "Preview" to check what you have written
