Login?

Go to the member login box at the bottom of the left column of this page.
This is not visible if you are already logged-in.

Enter you username
Enter your password
Click "Log in"
Your username will appear top left when successful.

To avoid logging-in every time, check "Remember me" before logging in

Edit my account profile?

You must be logged-in to do this.

Go to "My account" via the "Member menu" to the left
Click "Edit" in the page
You can edit your account settings here eg your email, your password etc.

To edit your personal details eg postcode, telephone, area etc
Click "Personal Information" in the page

Change my password?

You must be logged-in to do this.

Go to "My account" via the "Member menu" to the left
Click "Edit" in the page
Enter your new password here.

Add my event?

You must be a logged-in member to do this.

Go to "Create content" via the "Member menu" to the left.
Then to "Event"

Fill in all the fields.
Your event will appear in the events pages.

To automatically remove an event posting on a set date, see 'Scheduling options' below the date fields.

To have an event added to the events page, please submit details to Susan Neale sneale2@sky.com

Add my IW/FC/Teacher Training Course?

You must be a logged-in member to do this.

Go to "Create content" via the "Member menu" to the left.
Then to "Course"

Fill in all the fields.
Your course will appear in the courses pages.

To have a course added to the courses pages, please submit details of your event to Susan Neale sneale2@sky.com

Create a Book Review?

You must be a logged-in member to do this.
Click "Create content" in the member menu.
Fill the fields as indicated.

Reply to a forum entry?

You must be logged-in to do this.
Click "Reply" at the bottom left of the post to which you want to reply
Enter a subject
Enter your reply in the "Comment" field

Search for a teacher?

Click "Find teachers" in the main menu to the left
Check the box to choose your search criteria eg "Area"
Enter your search eg "Dorset"
Click the "Find teachers" button
A list of results will appear
Click "view" in the "Profile" column

Contact a member?

Go to the member's profile.
This can be done via "Find teachers" or via any post made by the member. Look for the link to the member's profile. You will find their details in the profile.

Listen to chant recordings?

Both guests and logged-in aYs members can download files.

Go to "Chanting" via the main menu to the left
Then to "Chant recordings"
Click the arrow below the name of the audio file to listen
To browse a list of available chants click "Browse chants" in the main menu to the left

To download a file to your pc click the "Download audio file" link.
Follow the on-screen instructions presented. These will depend on the web browser that you are using.
You will then be able to transfer the file to your music player.

Contact aYs?

Click the Email link at the bottom of any page.
This should open your email programme. If not copy and paste the address into an email.

Alternatively;
Go to "Contact" via the main menu to the left
Fill in the fields in the page
Click "Send e-mail"

Add my photo to my profile?

You must be a logged-in member to do this.

You will need a small digital photo on your computer.
Maximum dimensions are 85x85 and the maximum size is 50 kB.

Go to "My account" via the "Member menu" to the left
Click "Edit" in the page
Scroll down to "Upload picture"
Click "Browse"
Browse to the digital photo on your computer

Comment?

You must be logged-in to do this.

You can comment on much of the content on the website by clicking links "Add new comment" which you can find at the bottom of most content.
Fill the fields
Click "Preview" to check what you have written
Click "Post comment"
