Krishnamacharya & Srivatsa Ramaswami

After recently receiving some feedback from enquiries to Ramaswami's visit to the U.K. in 2009 I realised that many people did not know who he was. Some people were unaware that Krishnamacharya had another long term student. Ramaswami studied for over 30 years as a personal student of Krishnamacharya and began teaching with his Acharya's blessing and support.

NamaRupa magazine published an article by Ramaswami about his studies with Krishnamacharya. I have sent this article to people who have enquired about Ramaswami's workshops. The feedback I received from many who read it inspired me to try and make it available to any students interested in Krishnamacharya's teachings. If you would like a copy it is available as a free download from NamaRupa, the link is.

athayog update

www.athayog.me.uk now has sections on the Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads; also pages on Desikachar's Heart of Yoga.

Some of the in-page links don't work yet as I have yet to change the previous hyperlinks from the old site.

I have added a few of my own pictures as well.

Still a lot of work to do, but the general scheme of things is in place.

My new website

Some years ago I made a website that included a lot of yoga stuff. It has been dormant for the last few years as it was on freeserve and I had lost access to it when we went over to broadband with blueyonder. However I have decided it was time to resuscitate it - it is now available at www.athayog.me.uk, and I will try to find the time to bring it up to date both for general appearance and content.

Have a look and see what you think.
